Our mind can accommodate the entire universe. That is why, there are skies upon skies available for our flight. Don’t be content easily. Those who remain content easily remain insignificant. Their joys, ecstasies and silences become insignificant.
Life’s experiences are numerous: good and bad, bitter and sweet, bright and dark, summer and winter. These are dualities of life. Do not be afraid of exploring new things. Experience is directly proportional to your maturity and comes only from your participation.
To face life without being prepared is terrifically beautiful. Only then life will have novelty and youth. It will have a flow and freshness. Only by experiencing the surprises, we can unravel the mysteries and understand them.
You don’t need something to help you forget your loneliness; you just need to become aware of your aloneness – which is a reality. And it is so wonderful to experience it and to feel it, because it is your freedom from the crowd, from others. It is your freedom from the fear of being lonely, and it’s your liberty to experience and learn.
The greatest courage in this world is to drop the mind aside. The bravest person is one who can see the world without the barrier of the mind, just as it is. It is enormously different and utterly beautiful. Nobody is inferior and nobody is superior – there are no distinctions. Now, you might as well ask, what then differentiates or polarizes us? The only answer is ‘Experience’. One who is more experienced than the others can stand out, will be more confident and participates in the public life more effectively and meaningfully.
Our mind is a mechanism. You feed it with knowledge, it takes it, and grows bigger. Thus, experience and knowledge run parallel to each other. The more you experience, the wiser you become. But the force lies in those people who remain aware. The total energy is in the hands of a few who stimulate other people. It’s like a single candle that can light million other candles.
The point I’m driving home is that life is made up of colossal opportunities. We must make best use of them, grab them and experience them. Don’t bother whether you will rise or fall. It is often said that you will regret the most for what you have not done than for what you have done. But the wisdom you acquire from the experience is going to last forever. People say that you are smart if you can learn from your own mistakes, intelligent if you can learn from others’ mistakes, but wise if you can do both.
Remember, every change that comes your way gives you an opportunity to move ahead of those who won’t or can’t adapt to sudden changes and learn. Through these experiences, we mature or progress intellectually. After all, we live to learn. As it is popularly said, the intelligence of the younger may be greater but the experience of the older is the greatest. So never stay idle in life. You should always move with time and enjoy every second of your life. If Experience is a tree, then wisdom is the fruit it bears.
